Rangpur Riders:New team in BPL 2012

The Bangladesh premier league was first held in 2011 with six teams from the six divisions. They are the following teams.

Dhaka gladiators

Chittagong kings

Sylhet royals

Khulna royal Bengals

Duronto rajsahi

Barisal burners

In the final Dhaka gladiators and Barisal burners were qualified. Dhaka gladiators beat Barisal and became the first BPL champions. Bangladesh has now seven division. And the new one is Rangpur. In this season of BPL the Rangpur division has launched a new team named Rangpur Riders. They are joining the BPL 2012 as the seventh team.

GOLDEN Players got their destiny

Golden players of Bangladesh are sold in BPL 2012

In this year the second BPL has been started with its player auction on 20^th December.

 In the last tournament there were six icon players for each team. But this year that system is gone. They are sold out to the seven teams through auction. From Bangladesh there were four players in the golden category. They were

1. Tamim Iqbal sold to Duronto Rajshahi with 165000$

2. Mushfiqur Rahim sold to Sylhet Royals with 200500$

3. Mahmudulla Riad sold to Chittagong Kings with 102500$

4. Shakib al Hasan has been sold to Dhaka gladiators with 375000$

Notice to Dhaka Gladiators

The champions of the BPL 2011 Dhaka gladiators are warned by Fourth PR to fulfill giving of the due money to them.

In a notice the Fourth PR spokes man EMRAN MAHBUB said that the Dhaka gladiators are said to pay the due wages of about 1,40,11,271 taka before Thursday,20^th December.

The FOURTH PR will go to court if they don’t get their money before the following day. The Fourth PR is a group that Dhaka gladiators employed them to tackle their advertising sides.

An officer of the Dhaka gladiator said that “They have said us to pay back the dues, we will get the through court. We have contacted our lawyers about this.” He added that the volume of the money described Fourth PR is not valid.”

Bangladesh premier league(BPL) t20 2012 auction on Thursday

On the 20th december,thursday the auction of the BPL t20 2012 will be held. The ceremony will take place at Radisson Water Garden. The Chairmen of the Seven team  will be present there.

In this year's BPL some new rules has been established. The BPL governing committee has bounded the franchisees with the maximum ratio of money spending. And the boundary is not more than 1.5 million dollar.
In this year 134 players of 13 countries will join instead of the Bangladeshi players.

Every team can add ten player in there squad and they can use maximum five players in every match.

The Bangladesh cricket board has already published the player names including the Bangladeshi players.

Among the foreign players 16 are in golden class, 12 in A class, 27 in B class and finally in the C class there are 79 players.

From the Bangladeshi players 4 will be included in golden phase. They are Tamim, Shakib, Mushfiq and Mahmudullah. 7 players are in a class, 17 cricketers are in B class and in the C division there are 85 players.

It can be noted that the BPL will start on 17 January with a ceremony. Matches will take place from the next day.
